Привет всем.
Я прошу прощения за свой вопрос, но деваться некуда.Нужно решить задачку, но условие на непонятном буржуйском языке. растолкуйте пожалуйста, что я должен сделать (помимо того что выучить буржуйский язык).
Task
Implement a HTTP based client/server application
with a two-tier architecture:
- 1 - application server for application logic
i.e. Tomcat
- 2 - database for storing data of the
application in a persistant manner.
i.e. mySQL
The application logic is a remote controled timer.
The remote control is a HTML based Web page which realizes a
visualization of a timer in the shape of a statusbar with blue rectangles.
The timer value "tick" runs infinetly.
The timer value "tick" is modulo 100: 1 .. 100.
The "tick" start value is 100.
The "tick" can be "stopped" or "started".
Each displayed blue rectangle represents a range from 1 to 10 values of "tick".
The value "range" representing a value range of "tick
can be configured by an input field named "range" on the remote control.
The refresh rate "update" of the remote control is between 1 to 10 seconds.
The ammount of seconds representing the refresh rate "update"
can be configured by an input field named "update" on the remote control.
The size of the displayed blue rectangle is called "size".
"Size" can be configured by an input field called "size" on
the remote control in pixel/"tick" from 1 pixel up to 10 pixel.
Round down if "tick" devided by "range" has a reminder.
A displayed blue rectangle is realized by a blue colored gif.
The value of "tick" which is stored in the database
has to be decreased by "step" each "second".
"step" and "second" vary between 1 to 10 to be configured by
an input field in the remote control.
Constraints
do use Client side: HTML
The statusbar has to appear in the body section of the HTML page
Server side: two-tier arcitecture:
- JSP (application server, i.e. Tomcat)
- mySQL (Database)
do NOT use Client side: Java, JavaScript, VisualBasic, Flash, Active-X
Server side: LISP, Assembler, Pascal, Perl
